This is a sugar glider, the pet of friends of ours, the Stobers, translators. Their village gave this to them when it was a baby. Now, it is very tame, also extremely soft. It will fly around their house, but it is nocturnal, so doesn't happen often. It is kept in a cage outside their back door. It has a couple of little nests that it goes into to sleep.
