Common problem with the road, although this road is "paved" for the most part. It is the main highway from coast (Madang) to the highlands. Paving is down by laying gravel, adding oil and pounding and then doing a second layer. That's it. There are places where the road bed has eroded away over drop-offs. Then it is a one lane road.
