As banana leaves are removed, the baking vegetable and meats become visible. In this mumu, we had potatoes, chicken, sausage, taro, pitpit, corn on the cob (more like our field corn), edible leaves and ferns, squash (which is always called pumpkin), kaukau (pronounced "cowcow"). Of course, there has to be kaukau at a mumu. Ha,ha,ha, ha . . . . . .
