Our yard and haus meri, Dariaso. She is a Christian who walks 2 hrs to work here in Uka. When it is rainy, she walks through mud to her knees. She has a wonderful personality and has assured us that she is honest and will keep our home safe. She also prays for our family. When we gave her a small flashlight to help her in the dim early mornings as she walks, the first thing she said was, "Now, I can read the scriptures at night." Wow! When I asked her if it was safe for her to carry her money back to the village, she said they all walk together from here in a group. If you are alone, the "bad raskols" bother you. She said, "they have no shame."
