The airstrip in the Aiyura Valley, notice this one is not "international airport"! Although the term international would surely fit. It had started to rain as we came into the valley, but had cleared by this point. The pilots we've meant here on Center tell us there are 460 airstrips like this, actually many not nearly as good as this one. Often they are smaller and unmowed. Not good. To be certified here, each pilot has to land and take off of every airstrip three times.
